I’ve had a very close encounter with a Lion hunting in Texas . You can’t imagine what the body and mind does when one screams in your ear from a few feet away. I was sitting on the ground against a large tree scouting and never heard it come up behind me. I’m 68 years old, hunted over 50 years, nothing in my lifetime prepared me for that!

I’ve 68 and have been playing 2 years ! I know it’s crazy but I have the attitude that I should be able to play as good as anyone else! I’ve only broken into the 80s once. The back 9 seems to always get me.

Sorry tried to post the pics. She heard her Chickens and Peacocks raising hell. She saw a small chicken that it had just killed but didn’t notice the snake. Reached to pick up the chick and it struck, her arm was swollen a lot more!

Here in Austin, the hospitals are overwhelmed with compassionate patients, as they’re called. Everything from gunshot wound, stabbings to all types of chronic illnesses. Literally thousands of construction jobs are manned by illegals . I don’t see Americans being able to compete!

The person he stabbed was said to be having a medical emergency. What a low life to break a window and repeatedly stab someone!
We were right across from Tommy Lee Jones’s ranch on Chapel hill road . 1600 acres , lots of deer but no real big racks. I’m spoiled cause I’ll have 6-8 nice bucks in my yard every day and go to the lease and see small 6-8 points. Even the ones on camera weren’t that big . My son shot a couple does for the freezer. Always looking for a better lease . More for the hanging out , cooking than killing!??????
Hey Rize , I got out of my lease in San Saba this year. Didn’t shoot anything but hogs for the last two years. The only reason I had it was for my son and I. If you need someone to take an Axis doe or two for the freezer, I live between Austin and Marble Falls.

When a mature lion lets out a scream in your ear , it’s hard to fathom what it’s like . I’m very lucky not on a list of attacks in Texas ! Yes , a buddy and I had one run across the levee road just north of 3 Rivers by Black Hawk at night . We had to slow as it ran in front of us and you could tell it was a female. We stopped and put a Qbeam on it as it ran down the side and across a bean field.

We updated an old Tudor home after the lady died in it for a Priest who purchased it . One day we came back from lunch and the Priest was on the front porch pissed off asking us which one of us is pulling the prank in the bedroom that the lady died in . They had stripped the Oak floors the day before and while we were gone a pentagram was drawn with a mop and nasty water in the middle of her room. The Priest said he only left for a minute and locked all the doors. That house is probably still on Government and North Foster I think ?
My 19 yo son has worked since he was 16 learning electrical, plumbing, carpentry at a hill country villa . He’s now taking business and marketing classes .He met the CEO of marketing while working and was offered an internship at Navidia next summer. You have a better chance of finding a job if you’re in the workforce!

My neighbor called EMS a couple weeks ago, thought she was having a stroke. Couldn’t stand up or walk, nausea , vomiting and extreme headaches. They finally diagnosed her with shingles in her inner ear ! She’s still in rehab, learning to walk again. She’s 51 and was very active. It killed the nerve and she can’t hear from the affected ear .

Baton Rouge was psyched about the show! A bunch of us had tickets and were ready to rock. Took a while to get over it.
Yep , these were found on a sandy area , very seldom find them this intact. This is all I hunt anymore.
