Me and a group of friends were standing about 10 feet away from some guys who got shot at by a guy in a car that drove up. Dude pulled out a pistol and cracked off 2 shots. Didn't hit anybody but that shite was surreal

Yes. I was in an awful car wreck in high school. The driver of the car lost control and the car plummeted off a 100+ foot cliff into a creek in the middle of the country, the closest house located over a mile down the road. Somehow all four passengers survived the flipping and impact. The car came to a rest in the middle of the creek upside down and it immediately started to flood with water. We had to climb out of the car one by one. When we impacted, the flipping cause my body to toss around the car so much that my head ended up under the driver's seat. When the car came to a rest in the creek, my head was under water and it took me a quick moment to realize that 1) I was alive and 2) I was going to drown if I didn't immediately get out of the car.
We all ended up walking down the gravel road until we reached the nearest house. We knocked on the door, explained our situation, and the owners of the house called our mothers. This was in the middle of the night after a long night of partying.
Fortunate to be alive.

Stop sign at the entrance. She rolled out into the street without stopping, then stopped when she saw a car coming, and the cop lit her up. He just happened to be coming down that road at the perfect time to catch her. Back half of my truck was in the neighborhood and front half sticking out in the other road.

Had a loaded .38 put in my chest at 1 AM in Tigerland. Guy wanted my cash only. Gave him $40. I was pretty drunk.

So one time Obama stated that if he had a son, he would look like a particular person that was the focus of much media attention at the time.
I would think that the reference would draw from that incident and the person described, would indeed resemble the person that Obama claimed would look like his son,if he had one.

Two offshore accidents, two really close calls in airplanes, one shotgun blast fired at me.

I worked EMS for over 20 years, a large part of it in not - so - desirable areas of a city, and spent most of 2004-2005 in Iraq, so yeah a few times. Came out mostly unscathed.

Yes, back in the day (80's) a bunch of teenagers (approximately 100) had a huge beer party at an old abandoned school out in the woods, once we all got good and drunk, some biker dudes in their 30's showed up, and at first everything was cool...until someone noticed they were stealing beer - then all hell broke out and one of them got their arse whipped by the starting LB of the football team.
Fast forward a coupe of hours, a car rolls up and guess who it is. Everybody started walking towards them, including myself, and all of a sudden we saw a gun barrel come out the window - as we were running to take cover, I could hear the gun shots behind us. I hid behind a car wheel and I noticed one of the older guys pull a .45 out of his car and start shooting at them; at the same time, a guy one car over starts screaming because he got shot in the ankle; the guy with the .45 shoots through their engine block about the same time they run out of ammo - a hundred teenagers convene on them and beat the shite out of all them (I thought they were going to get beat to death).
Some how, they manage to get away and steal someone's car and get the hell out of there. The next day, the stolen car shows up on the side of the road torched and the bikers get arrested for robbing a store after they got beat down and stole the car - wild times!
