I can’t imagine one republican voting for her and she trailed the guy in the primary, so you’re probably correct.

You could bus them to another city. Tell them that New York City has a right to shelter law. Load up a couple of charter buses.

Do you mean a final solution?

Yes there is but our politicians will never do it. We need Thanos to come make some motherfrickers disappear

There IS a solution. America just doesn’t have the courage to put it into motion.
Reminds me of a TikTok story of a girl who had a cricket in her house. She was superstitious and would not harm the cricket and hoped he would go away. The cricket reproduced until her house was a chirp factory and she reached out to TikTok for help getting them out of the house because she just wanted to bake a brownie in peace.
I thought: A young man should go to her house and ask her to step outside for a few hours. He would then commit a cricket Holocaust and then make some brownies. She returns a few hours later and asks where the crickets went. He shushes her and hands her a brownie.
Something like this will happen for America. I have foreseen it. A new Napoleon rises and destroys this trash civilization.

I work in environmental and frequently interact with the government - state and federal, travel to meetings in different states, regions, DC etc.
These folks no longer go in to work. Vast oceans of empty offices and cubicles, full bathrooms and kitchens with no purpose, and AC/heat blasting everyday until 5PM. Completely unused, except for maybe that one overworked guy, looking all divorced and like he would probably welcome death. There is an opportunity here somewhere...I can't put my finger on it.

I hear ya. When I see homeless people in my area the first thing I do is feel sorry for myself too. It must suck having to walk/drive past them everyday on your way to a nice meal, soft bed, and a roof over your head every night. I mean do these people even consider what they’re doing to you and how they’re affecting your view of the city? Selfish bastards

The idea that this is a Republican/Democrat issue is pure BS. Neither party has any idea or policy to solve or even reduce the problem. Neither party is even really studying the problem.
And keep one other thing in mind. I have a friend who lives in Portland and tells me it is NOT just the liberals. As he says, liberals pass all these laws allowing homeless people to do damage, but when challenged almost all these laws are upheld not by liberals but by libertarian judges who think there should be no such thing as anti loitering laws or anti drug laws. Apparently there is a big "libertarian streak" in Oregon legal circles and they keep winning judicial elections out there.

Every up tic in home ownership costs results in and up tic in people who can’t afford them.
For decades municipalities have put in place more and more requirements for development, zoning, and codes for new neighborhoods. Home building codes have gotten more stringent with the development of energy codes. These all add great cost to the per month bill for homeowners.
Lastly, the looking down on trade schools have given us a generation that is liberally educated with no skills. While at the same time depleting our skilled trade workforce. This adds a lot to costs because any plumber or electrician has a virtual monopoly by simply starting a business.
There are other important factors like mental health, drugs, the need for mental health hospitals, and pharmaceuticals. But the often overlooked is the above.

One of the big problems is a lot of these addicts, and people who have trouble functioning in society used to be able to at least afford at least a shithole apartment on very little money. Now cost of living is so damn expensive, that really isn't possible anymore for a lot of these people.
We have zoned and over regulated away the ability to have things like flop houses, where folks like these used to be able to lay their heads, and odd jobs for them to make a buck or two to do so (muh everyone needs a LIVING WAGE). This is the end result of that.

To many leftie NGOs fight for their "rights" to be vagrants, and I think SCOTUS cracked a window for them too.
At this point the solution is to legalize weed and all other drugs, and keep voting Democrat. Frick it. If the nation is to stupid to to do what it takes, then it deserves what it gets.
