Has the dating scene gotten worse lately?

35, recently single. Having way less luck with the ladies this go round than I was before.
It's been 5 years, so I know I'm older, but I'm actually improved in every way since the last time I was single. Health wise, financially, mentally, etc.. but none of that has helped my game it seems these days.
Idk, did covid throw a monkey wrench in things?

The average woman wants absolutely NOTHING to do with the average man. They all think they are above what they really are since simps tell them all how great they are in these dating sites & apps & since they did that hot athlete & rich guy in one night stands they think they are all owed high value men. If you aren’t at least 6 foot tall then prayers to you. I’m actually glad I’m married so I don’t have to deal with this idiocy.

It was terrible 5 years ago, now its worse.... Health, wealth, faith, security, unless to the extreme...Even if you're top 20% on all of the above you're still 19% short.... Unfortunately anything realistic/practical has very little effect.

This isn't the cause, and it clearly hasn't stopped me. In 40/50 age range, they tend to want the D nearly immediately, and they care less about you in general.
I think you're dealing with two factors. First, mid 30s seems to be when most women are about to get divorced, but they haven't yet. Second, phone culture (I won't assign this just to millennials) is corrosive to the mind, particularly women's minds. The women you're probably trying to date have had a phone in their hands since junior high.
There's also blatantly obvious stuff you're falling for, especially if you are on the apps (trust me, don't waste your money). I saw the same 10 asian girls' photos on probably 100 profiles. If they link to their IG, duckface, filters, nope, gone. If they put pictures of their kids unobscured faces in their profiles, I shitcan them. Get more picky. And just relax. It's pretty easy to get discouraged. I'm not exactly the man of anyone's dreams but I feel like I have enough going for me that it shouldn't be this hard and yet here I am. Lots of competition and as others have said women can afford to be very picky now so unless you check every box they don't need to bother.
I'd be interested in hearing from a woman's pov though because so many of the complaints I see are from guys. Maybe it's never been a better time to be a thirtysomething woman? I don't know.

You’ve been doing all the wrong exercises. Get yourself a handful of putty, cup it with one had while slightly resting your thumb on the left side of the putty, very slightly depress as you slide your thumb to the right side of the putty, then repeat 3 sets of 10 every day for two weeks.
