Long time left. Plus it already froze in fall.

Winter literally just started 3 weeks ago. We still have a couple months to get below freezing

Seems like this is the new trend. One really good cold snap in mid November then 75-80's

You do realize winter isn't only January right?

aren't they predicting an arctic front in like 2 weeks where it won't get above freezing for like 2 days for much of the South?

Yes, I remember one in the 90s.

Sucks when it doesn’t freeze - mosquitoes go OOC once it warms up

The weather channel says it will freeze 10-12 days form now.

Pretty sure we’re supposed to have an arctic blast later this month that brings us down into the 20s......

We had a hard freeze, down to 25 degrees and stayed under freezing for like 8 hours. While it wasn't between Dec 21 and March 19th I still count that as a winter freeze.
I hate it when we have just one hard freeze and then my landscaping looks like shite for 4 months.

My 1st 2 Winters at LaTech I was in shorts and T's until mid Feb.. Then had a cold Winter and then a really bad Winter with lots of snow, ice, sub freezing temps.
Dad taught me about Wooly Bears. Almanac.com - caterpillars as predictors of weather And I know right around 1980 they suddenly appeared and over the next few years got to where they swarmed covering patios and walls and trees. Then after the really bad Winter they went poof! and I've only seen a handful since the mid 80's.

Have you glanced at the GFS for the 22-24? If not, you may want to.
