But making a big deal about this like all cops are tyrants is just as bad as BLM people saying all cops are out to get black people
I'd imagine the # of cops like this is higher than we'd like to believe

She was terrible, but I think she was about to finally let the dude go. He said something and the fat cop said frick it, arrest him and she did. You would think between the two of them, they could put together one working brain.

You just hear about it much more often when they are out of line with blacks.
The only reason this made waves is because the guy is old and legally blind.
This type of trampling on rights happens thousands of times a day.

Not saying it is the right thing to do but there are people that make a good living getting cops to trample on their rights and then sue and get settlements. It actually seems easy.
The most common one is filming inside a public building, especially a post office. The cops always get called and issue a trespass to the people filming. It has been proven time and time again that filming in a public building is legal and a 1A issue but a ton of cops don't know that.
What is crazy is a lot of guys even show the cops the law which is even posted in the post office and other buildings and they still arrest or remove the person filming. You can google cases of people getting easy 6-figure settlements because their rights were violated.

Supposedly she is already under investigation for putting a dog on a guy she pulled over for inoperable taillights.
Lights that show to be working just fine in her dash cam vid.

imo it is the right thing to do. idc if theres a big lawsuit if thats what it takes for authoritarian cops to learn appropriate boundaries. especially no sympathy when they are shown the legal signs/statutes supporting that activity being legal and yet still violate rights.
if the cops didnt play stupid games they wouldnt win stupid prizes of these lawsuits and there wouldnt be people making good livings off of their stupid games.

all they had to do was comply fully while she was investigating an obviously nonsense circumstance and the dog wouldnt have been sent.

Not only will she probably lose her job, but she will cost a blind dude time, money and embarrassment and even perhaps physical harm. Not to mention he's going to sue to city into oblivion and rightly so.

Is this the part where you and your fellow bootlickers start pretending that having a typo in a department email and illegally arresting someone are the same thing?
