Where are you seeing this?

So models are still pointing toward it coming back into Louisiana? I thought they were backing off of that overnight?

00z Euro run. The Euro has been pretty consistent with this general track for 3 days now, but we'll see if it verifies.

Zoomed version of map on previous page...

Euro has been correct in the past when models are all over the place

Spaghetti models have shifted landfall to the north.

The big takeaway there is both of those models were way off on the pressure at this point. It will be interesting to see what the next runs look like.

hunters going back through the center of the storm again.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to be in Port O'Connor or Port Lavaca.

Intensity tracks over at Tropical Todbits showing this storm being a Cat 2 or even a Cat 3?
"Expecting big intensity forecast changes from the NHC with the 10AM advisory. Real time & model data is alarming in respect to wind speeds." Hurricane tracker app

6z GFS total accumulated rainfall amounts through 156 hours.
Keep in mind that this is a GFS model run that suggest the storm sits and stays between Brownsville and Corpus Christi, yet the rainfall totals from Houston to Lafayette are pretty significant nonetheless.
