And I gotta be honest. I am getting more and more worried about flooding in the Baton Rouge area. This is coming in further East than thought 2 days ago. The Euro really nailed this even a week ago. Maybe not as strong as predicted but looks like second landfall was about spot on. It is just so hard to predict rainfall amounts, you can get dry slotted so easily or get under training thunderstorms, you just never know until it begins happening.

Houston Tunnels have obviously taken on water. I'm in the BOA building and they said the flood doors there are holding right now but are leaking a small amount.

Where is the tornado warning near St. Charles headed? I am in Belle Chasse at work and it just started getting bad over here.

Dumb question of the day.
I've heard of several tornado warnings the last few days, but not hearing much of any of them touching down and causing damage.
Are the patterns just not set up with something like this to allow for strong tornados?

Doesn't seem completely correct. There are elevated portions marked as flooded. While they are indeed closed, they aren't under water.

Euro Wednesday morning position - strong band over SELA. Note that the 50+ knot winds are NOT at the surface since this analysis is for a few thousand feet above MSL.

They are usually F-0 or maybe F-1 but a direct hit on your house still sucks because you suddenly have roof damage you wouldn't have otherwise had.
