No, I definitely think LSU should take a shot at landing LK if that’s who they think is the best option to run the program. 100%.
I also think LSU fans WILL be living in fear as soon as Bama (or other similarly situated jobs) opens up.

Lane Kiffin has not been fired, is not at risk of being fired, and frankly, would probably never be fired from OM. He’s actively coaching a team in the middle of a national title run. A historically good season for his school.
James Franklin because had been fired because he sucks at his job and filled a seat vacated by another coach who sucked at his job.
Lane could kill all of this nonsense with a few words at any number of the press conferences and appearances that his ego drives him to attend, but he doesn’t because he enjoys the spotlight.
He’s a fantastic football coach, but he’s a piece of shite. I don’t think LSU would miss anything by missing on him.
