It is dumping rain in the Elmwood area right now. I'd imagine most of nola is getting this at the moment.

A friend's daughter is located right off of buffalo Bayou right before you go in town on Allen pkwy and Montrose in Houston. If anyone has any info about that area, it would be greatly appreciated.

My mom's neighborhood of Harper's Landing in The Woodlands is flooding down several streets. She said they can hear the airboats rescuing people in a neighborhood behind theirs that sits much lower. My step sister and brother live in the same neighborhood.

Where are people getting that it is moving N? The storms firing around the center can trick the eye. It is moving ESE until the NHC says otherwise.

Luckily we have a defibrillator at work, cause my heart may give out before the end of the week. Been talking with a neighbor all day. So far my house is fine. Still got several more days of this crap, though.
