Interesting that they're starting to show some reintensification now. Only up to 45 mph before next landfall but it's very track dependent as I mentioned before

Yeah I got that. If you look at the radar, this band is moving east around 25-30 miles per hour. It is projected to move across the state over the next few hours. Once it is cleared, it is difficult to predict where the rain will be next. Will Harvey fill in behind it or will there be a big gap? BR could get another 3 inches in an hour or two, then an inch or two over the next 24 hours.

Very difficult to tell.

Baton Rouge has probably gotten 2-3 inches in the last hour. That can't be accurate.

Where are you getting your totals from? Out of the 15 USGS stations, only one is showing more than 0.5" up to 9:15. Don't think there has been 1.5"-2" in the last 30 minutes.

I dont know about all of BR but my area town has definitely not received 3 inches today. It's been raining, but not 3 inches in a morning rain.

I'm working on Main Street downtown. Been raining pretty steady most of the day, got pretty hard for about 30 minutes.

Not going to speculate how much.

I don't think it's been that much. It's been raining steady for sure, but I don't think we've gotten 2-3 inches.
Yeah. It's been a steady rain, for a while but no downpours here on Perkins across from Pennington Biomedical

I have to think that one positive for the BR/Denham area would be that Amite is so low right now.
