My resume was right. I am a people person.

Yeah same way. We did the 'Insights' deal last summer. Both my work, and out of work personality types were a form of "Reformer". The out of work one was the "get it done, and dont care" type. The work one was the political "need to work with others to get what I need/want done" type.
I've come to the realization that I can either be someone with responsibility owning my decisions/job OR just the type that goes in, does my job clocking in/out. Nothing in the middle as I will step on peoples toes.

I've wasted years not following my dream and when I had the opportunity to, I let fear take over and watch from the sideline as my former partner is having moderate success in the dream we both shared.
I'm sacrifice who I am in order to be liked by others by pretending to be what they want me to be instead of just being myself.
I'm 39 and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up .
I've had a job since I was 12 and if I had really listened to by dad I'd be a lot more financially secure than I am, but I'm absolutely terrible with money.

I'm a snorer, and my wife is having a difficult time coping with this fact.
On a separate note, I'm self-centered. Far more so than I'm comfortable with, and I recognize it and just can't seem to do anything meaningful about it. If I try, I feel fake for trying to do something solely based on that reason.

As I've gotten older, my fuse has become more and more short for people not doing their job. They should either do their shite, or get out of my way while I do it

my wife has recently told me i am a very selfless, generous, person who is the epitome of a nice guy.
however she said i am not kind or empathetic. she's not wrong. facts over feelings.
this stemmed from when one of my uncles (who i really didn't care for because he was a racist a-hole) died recently and i immediately started making plans to go to the funeral even though i had no desire to go, but completely forgot to tell my dad that i'm sorry his brother passed away or say anything remotely sympathetic.

It is easy for me to not have a drink.
It is impossible to only have one drink. If I have one I will get shitfaced.

That my metabolism ain't what it used to be. I cant eat like shite anymore and burn it off just by doing normal everyday activities. I'm gonna have to start hitting the gym to keep my body in check now. It sucks because I despise cardio. I dont mind weight training but cardio stuff to burn fat absolutely sucks.

I hate long meetings with circular discussions. I see a problem and look for a solution. Can usually diagnose quickly. I would rather spend 1 day solving a problem 96% than spend 7 days for 100%. I can use the other 6 days to fix my 4%. Problem is other people are not analytically minded and have to hash everything out to the nth degree.
Issue is I get obviously annoyed at this and I have to keep reminding myself not to show it.

I'll never not be in back and neck pain again. Currently 36 and in year 11 of pain. Only getting worse
