My neighbors dog peed in another yard and it was posted on our neighborhood Facebook page. Our friends already went over the the person who posted it on Facebook and got it straightened out. Some random number has kept texting our friend about this and telling her how bad of a neighbor she is etc. it is not as bad as that Netflix documentary but it is definitely escalating. My wife called the number to see who it was and immediately got a text saying tell your girl to stop calling.

Three things - Is there a way to figure out whose number this is and how?

And if I am allowed, can I give you guys the number?

Finally, what is the best way to try and spam this number or have it blow up?

I did tell the neighbor to block it and move on because the only way to fight crazy is with crazy but this crap never goes away and always gets more and more escalated.

Edit- discovered it is a VOIP so some loser clearly trying to hide.

Someone was mad that a dog PEED in the yard? I can understand if it was shite and not picked up, but they were mad about pee?

Also:

This thread will likely be deleted if you do that. FYI.

How did they get your neighbors number?

Why is a dog peeing a neighborhood issue?
Was it not on the grass?

You could block the number. The person will get bored and move on if you keep blocking numbers

They’re going to poison that dog. You’re dealing with full blown crazy. Leave.

Spydialer, or pretty much any reverse phone lookup sites.

The person who is being targeted asked not to because they are worried they will get their number spammed by the other party as well so that is a nuclear option.

I’m just blown away by all this and how psychotic these people are.

This is another reason you don't use real names or phone numbers for shitholes like NextDoor. There's a reason Ring doesn't tell you who posted to "Neighborhood" and only draws a relative location that could be any one of 30 houses when someone posts.

In all honesty, blocking the number immediately should've been the play. Just ignore it and move on with your life until there is a reason to get further and deeper into anything.

This person may be crazy. But they also may just be some older woman bored to death trying to create drama to partake in and enjoy.

Give us some of the details of what has been said though...you said it was escalating. Has it gone beyod just texts?

Just post the number. This is probably the best option.
