40 million Americans are on the hook for a monthly bill they haven’t needed to make in more than three years

Unimaginable to expect people to be financially responsible, right?

I'm super excited about it!

Eta: for clarification, I'm not upset about paying back money I owe. I'm upset with how much my wife owes.

Why would conservatives do this?!?

Might have to upgrade to the new iPhone every other year instead of every year now.

I commend you for being responsible, however…..

I don’t have any student loans and paid my wife’s off over a decade ago. If I did, in todays environment, I wouldn’t pay shite until they pried it from my hands. I’m sure another pause is coming soon or based on the next election more forgiveness coming.

I suspect you won’t see much of a change. People who always paid will continue to and people who didn’t won’t.

Smart people made interest free payments over the last 3 years.

Yeah and they are dumb enough to let the democrats frame that conversation.

Easiest win was zero’ing out the interest rates. But nah. Lol

Don’t be dumb.

Biden did and it was a perfect opportunity for republicans to offer a non pay it all off solution.

Instead we’re now going to allow the MSM to frame the conversation as Biden fricked up but the Republicans put this harm back on you.

This needed to happen. Now these same people have record credit card debt on them as well as these payments.

Ehhhhhhhhh idk about that. Why pay when there's zero interest, no minimum, and potential for the government to wipe the balance?
