I commend you for being responsible, however…..
I don’t have any student loans and paid my wife’s off over a decade ago. If I did, in todays environment, I wouldn’t pay shite until they pried it from my hands. I’m sure another pause is coming soon or based on the next election more forgiveness coming.

I suspect you won’t see much of a change. People who always paid will continue to and people who didn’t won’t.

This needed to happen. Now these same people have record credit card debt on them as well as these payments.
