Sounds silly to those who have never experienced it, and the objectively stupid crowd that thinks rejecting religion makes you smart will no doubt make fun of you. But, yeah,I've had a similar experience.
Not sure how to explain it, but definitely had to pull over and say a brief prayer before driving on.
Make the best of your life moving forward. You've been given a gift.

S, for future reference the penultimate "Jesus take the wheel" moment is when you become a flamboyantly gay man in the South and start repeatedly saying stuff like...

"Jesus take the wheel"

OP S did not state that he invoked Jesus by name. Just shut his eyes.

Attribution after the fact is false propaganda or merely delusional.

How will this experience transform your prayer life? How will you live your life moving forward? Will you let Jesus be your co-pilot?

Just so you know. That Popeyes on that exit serves breakfast. Eyepoppers are much better than McDonald's.

It is nice when he chooses to deny the prayers of dying children to help a drunk stay on the road. Definitely lucky.
Now if only he grants my football prayer again like in 2009. Damn Creflo Dollar and his G20 praying on the Falcons though.

Why did you want Jesus to take the wheel after he made you spin out like that?
