Guy looks like a twink

Probably spent his “captivity” getting his a-hole enlarged with a ball gag in his mouth

He was at the bus stop at 3:30am? To catch a bus that isn’t running.
And his accounts were emptied. Accounts normally used for Bus rides?

He waited until they fell asleep, hard, then He found a police officer (assuming late in the night) and was so disgusted with the officer’s response he just walked away?

None of that happened. He went on a bender and needed an excuse.

Sounds like something you tell your girlfriend when you’re out doing shady sh*t.

Sounds like Raquel bought it. Good for Ian.

Years ago while out at a bachelor party in the quarter a friend that was completely fubar somehow got convinced to get in a car with some hookers. He was able to get away when they stopped at a gas station. Luckly they only took his wallet.

told police he was mugged?

Maybe I have my definition of mugged wrong but this might be why the police didn't take him serious.

The NOPD response does make this story believable

That’s the only part that is semi-believable.

Did anyone look at those pictures and not automatically assume the guy is gay? He was out trying to buy or trade for drugs.

Yeah, if that was true, you go straight to the police station, fill them in, and take them back to the house.

You don’t tell one street cop in passing, and then say “oh well, let’s get tacos”

They probably could have pulled a Dewey Crowe on him to get some money.

this guy was abducted at gunpoint by multiple people in an unfamiliar city,

When he left the unhelpful cop, she said he walked home. I would assume that means he is from N.O. Why would it be unfamiliar?

The real reason we know this is bullshite, is that she had some detail, but glossed right over the important stuff. Were the fricking taco fixings crunchy, or soft? What fricking sauces were available?

The saddest part of the story is that he eventually found a police officer and told him he'd been mugged. The officer laughed and said "welcome to Mardi Gras."

I have nothing but disdain for New Orleans anymore. The last string of feckless mayors and the corruption and worthless population has ruined a once decent city

Are you trying to start a fight with Rohan2Reed?

Because that’s how you start a fight with Rohan2Reed.

Do taco shells fall under the "fixins" category? I would assume by "fixins" she meant things like lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, onions, salsa, hot sauce, etc. Shells, in my opinion, are an integral part of the taco and therefore entirely distinct from the fixin' accompaniments.
