Yep, I gott confused one day and told my wife to stop wanting to kill those sweet honeybees. They lit me up a half hour later. Hurt for 2 days. Had 4 rafter boards covered with them and some slimy crud. Blocked their exit holes and threw 2 insect bombs in the attic. Don’t think a single one survived

Tobacco provides some localized numbing. It works.

I got stung by more yellow jackets than we cared to count when I was about 12 years old rabbit hunting. They got in my shirt, in my hat. I abandoned my shotgun and ran, fell stopped dropped and rolled, ripped my shirt off, at which point they got in my hair and lit me up some more. It was bad.

Yellow jackets and bumble bees suck big time. I pulled down a bean bag out of my shop rafters today and it had a huge red wasp nest inside of it. Wasps went everywhere, not one sting. Had it been yellow jackets id be in the hospital.

One day I was mowing and unbeknownst to me, there was a yellow jacket nest in the yard. I ran over their nest, which was a hole in the ground I couldn't see.

Those mother frickers lit me the frick up. I hopped off the mower and I'm not sure what my 40 time was, but I can promise you it's the fastest time I've ever achieved. I made it into the house and I watched from a window to see when they calmed down. It took a long time.

Once they did calm down, I tip toed with the caution of a dog shitting a peach seed and poured a cup full of gas in their little hole in the ground.

Those little frickers are the most aggressive of all the flying stinging shite birds I've encountered.

YJ are underrated by some of you. Not only do they hurt initially, but it leaves a pain like a deep bruise for days. The last one got me on the fat part of my thumb. It felt like a nail gun.

That sucks. Terribly. F*** a guinea wasp. I got to scar on my arm on one of those bastards. I looked over and he was just f****** my arm. Just f****** it over and over again. Hammer in it. I threw the chainsaw and ran to my truck.

As the former non-allergic member of a carpentry team in college, here are pro-tips: leave them alone and they will too. I haven’t been stung since I adopted this mindset. I am pretty sure wasps don’t read minds but they must read body action. If they are needing removal, act at night, with bleach and water soaked paper towels, chuck and run for elevated nests or on top of hole for ground nests.

When I was in first grade we were walking over the vacant lot where our new house was going to be. I stepped on a yellow jacket nest in the ground and they swarmed the frick out of me. I was traumatized by stinging insects for a few years after that.

This happened to me when I was 5. Right before the Super Bowl and my parents were hosting a party. I remember that little fricker trying to string my eye.

I was taking some trash out to the garbage can last week and the damn yellow jackets had built a nest under the handle of the recycling bin next to it.

While putting the garbage in the can I must have bumped the bin and stirred them up because one of those little frickers stung me right on the temple. Not real painful, but I walked around for the next few hours looking like I had Bell's Palsey. I took it out on them with a full can of Bengal wasp and hornet spray. Good times.
