Oh hell. You just triggered baws for days. A cruise and Disney thread all in one

Can you buy bottles of alcohol on the cruise? I’m thinking it would be nice to have some whiskey back in the room of a night.

I'm jealous. Haven't had a free cruise since my hs senior trip in 2004. Y'all will have fun.

Get drunk and frick in your stateroom. Sun tan on the top deck.
Do Disney Cruises have a casino? Never been on one.

And claiming OT baller status (at least familial). It really is a trifecta of bait.

Parents only. I’m poor AF by OT standards.

I’ve priced the Disney cruises before, and you gotta be an OT baller to go on them, especially if you are paying for 8 people, like your parents are doing.
In my mind, the best thing about a Disney cruise is the price. This will keep out the Walmart herds of the Carnival Cruise Lines.
I have no desire to ever do a cruise, unless it’s the Mediterranean, Alaska, or an European river cruise.
You will probably have a blast on the cruise.

If you haven't been to a Disney cruise as an adult, just imagine standing in line at the DMV.

If you do book a cruise, please do the Travel Board a favor and limit the number of threads you start about it to less than 20.

Forgot about the movie theater. Enjoyed sneaking out to watch Last Jedi and Thor Ragnorak after the kids went to bed

I've always heard great things about Disney cruises.

No, If Jim Gaffigan said it in his set, it's obviously true.

Ugh I’ll praise Disney cruises all day long but if you don’t have kids and aren’t going to see their reactions and interactions you may not have a great time. But there are adult areas and the shows are pretty great so you have that going.
I don't have kids, but if my sister took hers on a Disney cruise and I went along, I'd have fun watching my niece and nephew enjoy it.

I am sure there has to be a few swingers on the boat. Should be able to pick them out at the adult pool. Have fun!

I know a guy that goes on it every year and it looks absolutely incredible. It's Disney. They don't frick around.

Should have asked your sister to skip out this year and then the remaining family go on a real OT baller trip.

You are going on the equivalent of a Chucky cheese, a golden corral, and a blue bayou on a barge with Disney characters
There is nothing further from the truth.
Disney spends $$$ and costs $$$ to make sure everything is top notch.

I went on a Disney cruise with a 4 year old in April. I hate cruises. To be honest, there was a lot to hate about this cruise as well (due to people, not the cruise line). But, the one good thing was the adult deck. Very quiet and minimal people since everyone is there with their kids. We'd leave our son in the play/daycare area sometimes (his request as he loved it there) and just go have a drink and relax. If you could spend 75% of the cruise there, it wouldn't be horrible at all. We couldn't as we wanted our son to have a good time as well. If your parents are OT ballers and you are going to the Disney island, just get a cabana that is isolated from everyone and it's a pretty relaxing place there as well.
