re: Gentlemen, tell me about your beard maintenance regimen.

Lately I shave it completely off every 2-3 weeks. It starts to bother me around that point.
I shave my neck every 2 days during these 2-3 weeks.

I use the Oneblade as well. The number 5 is a little shorter than I'd like my beard to be, but it's close enough for convenience. I'm not the best at lining it up. I try to do a straight line a couple inches above my adam's apple and then as I get to the sides line it up at the same angle as the top line of my beard. It looks good enough for me and my wife doesn't complain.

I'm not hating, I just don't know how people do not use beard oils/balms/creams. Mine gets dried TF out if I don't.
Mainly because mine doesn't dry out. Only thing that will dry mine out is if I shampoo it every day. Found that out quickly when I first started growing one and haven't had an issue since. I don't even use "beard shampoo", just regular Dove.
I have a balm but rarely use it because of the shine. If it's unruly I actually prefer to use a little of my Old Spice pomade to style it that I use for my hair.

Get it done with a haircut wherever I don't have to wait in line every 3-4 weeks. Have trimmed it myself, never looks as good as if someone else does it. I fricked around and dozed off about 10 days ago while getting a haircut and a beard trim and the woman damn near scalped me and basically shaved my beard off....first time in about 35 years I did not have a full beard and mustache and in 59 years only about 8 weeks total since I was 15 years old.

True.
Mine is all Joe Dirt-ish.

Mines too long to do anything with myself - it takes a pro. If I tried to scissor trim it I’d kill it.
I do trim above the lip to keep my mouth neat but that’s about it. Odd thing, my GF likes trimming it when I’m with her and she does a surprisingly good job.

Mine has some curl to it which I prefer so I just hit it with the come some

I take scissors and cut out a mouth hole for food and alcohol consumption.

Step 1: Throw razor in garbage
Step 2: Let it grow
Step 3: Wash it when you wash your hair
Step 4: Enjoy

Have it trimmed when I get my haircut every 4-5 weeks or "I look too Amish". In between cuts, I primarily just manage the neck and lips.
Shampoo daily, never use any oils.

I do my best to maintain it myself, but for some reason no matter how long I try to grow it, it won't grow past a certain length.

Same here. The only reason that I trim it is to even it out and to get rid of the wild strays.
I also hate the color. It's been solid white for 6 years. I'm 54 and I think it adds age to my face, but the wife loves it.

Trim weekly when I buzz my head.

I grow it for a while, shave it off when it annoys me. Repeat. Never been able to stick with it for more than a month. I know bearded men are manly men, but it cracks me up to see a dude talk about his beardcare regimen. Sorry.
I also use that One razor, very happy with it. Bought one for each of my boys, too.
I can't get over how much dudes with beards constantly stroke and touch it. It's hard not to notice when some lumberjack is sitting at the table doing it.
I might test out rubbing my nipples at the table to see if it's socially acceptable.

I have a finely adjustable beard trimmer. I leave the chin longer and do my own up-fade on the sideburns once a week. Takes about 5 minutes.

Trim it myself with a wahl professional no guard once a week when I shave my head. And use these beard balm/butters, not as greasy as oil. Smells are amazing

I grew a beard so I would no longer need a regimen
