America's paper of record telling you that what you see with your own eyes isn't real. We talk a lot about CRT and other contributors to the downfall of our culture, but the abandonment of truth is more egregious by the day and at the center of all of the other factors.

Can anyone imagine the last sentence of this tweet being uttered by the NYT if this occurred in a (R) administration?

Math is racist and so is seeing lines at the gas station.

The left wing media lies not just because they need to but also because they like to. Being a dishonest hack is a badge of honor to them

Gas here has jumped like 20 cents plus a gallon in less than a week.

Why the gaslighting, NYT?

Just once, I would like to see one of our liberal friends on here explain how blatant lies by the media are good for our country.

Most progressives ascribe to the mindset of “the ends justify the means”.

Oh, and most Democrats aren’t “liberals”, well, most vocal ones.

Scruffy is a liberal. Salmon is likely a liberal.

Dawgfan, EarlyCuyler, Spleen, c on z, would all fit the “progressive” definition.

EarlyCurler will be here soon to lecture us all on how we're a bunch of ignorant rednecks for not believing the media/government without question while screaming about democracy dying in darkness.

My nearest gas station went from $2.65 this morning to $2.79 now. I live just north of Birmingham.

It's good to see them being corrected by a majority of the replies.

My brother works at one of the gas storage facilities. They have been at capacity for 12 months and are still full of stored gasoline.

You think if I roll up to the loading rack at Exxon, they'll load me up with 15 gallons of 93 octane?

In the NYT's defense, the tweet says "long lines."

According to the NYT, a long line is defined as being a minimum of 10-thousand cars.

Oh, and you're a racist for thinking otherwise you cis-white Nazi overlord.
