The only issue I see is wouldn’t this cause higher prices elsewhere? California will have a shortage and have to buy gas from other states driving up demand and lowering supply nationwide

Good. They voted to have unrealistic emission standards requiring refineries to make special blends for them.

And enormous taxes.

I hope it bleeds them dry.

Good thing my car gets 30+ miles per gallon and that I make $91 an hour.

4 or 5 dollar raise coming on June 1.

There is no infrastructure in place to bring that much oil from other states. They get their oil from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Ecuador. Which means they are susceptible geopolitics. If China/India can't get oil from Venezuela, because Trump seizes their ships, they start buying oil from Ecuador and Saudi.

For the right price there is.

Multiple different groups are currently working logistics projects to take advantage of this

California still has more refining capacity than consumption. Multiple unplanned market upsets would be the largest impact.

Good - let'um run around in their electric cars until the thing runs out of power and leaves'um stranded on the highway at 2:00 am in the morning.

You know "fruit for the picking" for every criminal illegal alien streaming out of their Sanctuary Cities.......looking for targets of oppertunity.

Newscum is shutting down all the refineries. Yep, the melt will be glorious.

We live just east of downtown L.A. and the cheapest we’ve found is $3.99 a gallon. And that’s only at one place. I’ve seen it as high as $5.19. We’re expecting it to go up any day now.
