If I was an orthopedic surgeon or neurosurgeon at UTMB, I’d live there. Better than commuting from League City or Friendswood.

Property tax is only $73k per year - but the wind/flood insurance will be expensive.

That's mighty white of the owners to paint the house that color.

We used to call it Galvatraz but I hear they've cleaned it up a bit:

UrBan Dictionary: A nickname for Galveston, Texas, a small island city on the Gulf of Mexico near Houston. People call it that because there are a lot of projects, gangs and thugs there, even though it is a small city.

Not in Galveston. If I'm paying that much in that area, I'll just live in the nicest part of Houston.

Hell, I would spend $2 million and get a smaller place along 30A. Or something on Ono Island in Orange Beach.

Not talking about having it as a vacation home.... but would you actually live here?

I don’t love Galveston. If I had that much money to spare I’d live somewhere else.

3.9 million? I'll get the wife, we'll fly down there and buy 3 of them.

Badass and seaside a cool little nook in Galveston. I would love to live in Galveston but the drive in to see clients would get old quick.
