With this being the OT, it goes without saying we can all easily afford to live in this house. The question is... would you live here? Not talking about having it as a vacation home.... but would you actually live here?

1609 Seaside Drive

List price: $3,999,999
Square feet: 5,207

Nice house but I wouldn't want to live in anything that big no matter where it was located.

Why wouldn't we? Just because it's in Galveston? I'd have zero problems with it.

Whoever buys that needs to account for needing a full time painter.

Assuming I could afford the upkeep, I don't see why I wouldn't live there

The houses on the southwest part of the island are ridiculous. Plenty in that price range.

I would not live there full time

We pass this en route to West End. Those houses are awesome although they are super cramped together. Also, the baws across the street got a raw deal post-Ike b/c of these new builds took their ocean view

Not in Galveston. If I'm paying that much in that area, I'll just live in the nicest part of Houston.
