Lot of service industry places take vacay during 4th of July. I got coffee this morning on Freret st & several places were closed for vacation down the street. That have no ties to essence fest lol

Not really. Certain demographics either don’t tip well or not at all. Can’t say that I blame the servers if the majority of your income is based on tips

I think restaurants will deduct from the server if there is a dine and dash. Always thought that was brutally unfair. Combine that with shitty tips…….and it’s pretty predictable.

It’s not the tipping it’s also the customers being fricking assholes acting like trash running people ragged and bitching about everything.
