CHECK THE VIDEO

Hasn't there been a couple of these incidents at Harrah's lately where the victims believe someone put something in their drink and then rolled them when they left the casino in a daze. I don't think this is an isolated incident.

The guy from Houston who got rolled and they stole his watch and emptied his investment accounts.

He didn't want to file a police report though.

This has been happing in New Orleans since it founding. The early fur trader would pole down the Mississippi, sell their wears and go on the town to celebrate. They would wake up broke and sick. This is nothing new.

Exactly, what kind if idiot does this. Nola is a city full of criminals looking for an easy mark. Don't try to catch their attention.

But, I also don't believe this guy's story. Hooker robbing him seems more likely.

The most amazing/unbelievable part of this story is that a Good Samaritan picked up a paralyzed drunk off of (presumably) St Claude Ave in the wee hours of the morning and drove him back to his hotel.

I don't talk to anyone in casinos. Ever.

One time I was at Beau Rivage and there was this humongous dude playing 2 separate video poker machines at the bar. He was ordering a drink and leaning over one to talk to the bartender when this college age kid walked up to the other one and tried to make it look like he was trying to get the bartenders attention while he cashed the machine out.

The big dude turned and grabbed him and I thought was legitimately about to murder this fricker. He was begging forgiveness and took off running. I said "bruh, that dude is lucky you didn't kill him."

That's the most words I've ever said to another person in a casino.

If his story happened the way he says, there should be a good amount of corroborating evidence. The credit card is one and there should be CCTV of the person who used it. Second, the CCTV from the casino should be available too to cross reference with the perp who tried to use the card.

The Rolex could show up at a pawn shop. The good Samaritan could be called as a witness. Did they run a tox on the victim? Rape kit?

"one NOLA based couple"

What this guy left out of this description is that it was a young, hot, female same sex NOLA based couple.

Was drunk in goldmine one night. Started making out with this girl. A minute later she brings some guy over and was like “this is my husband. He likes to watch. You want to come back to our hotel?” And the husband was standing there with his hands in his pockets like a simp and was like “yeah sure baby whatever you want.” And I luckily had some kind of sense in my black out state and decided to tell them I had to close my tab and I just vanished.

Nothing good ever comes from interacting with strangers in devious places like bars or casinos.

Just to hear about a dude walking in Bourbon St wearing a Rolex. LoL. Even if this wasn't a cover story, that's the dumbest shite I've ever heard. I always laugh when people wanna flex in touristy places in cities notorious for theft and robbery.

But if a dude got drugged at Harrah's, the casino themselves would be quick to send out their hit squad. No way that could happen without it being on video, since there's cameras covering every inch of that place. And they sure as hell don't want that kind of shady shite happening and fricking up their reputation.

Dude thought with his dick, and got robbed.

I was undoubtedly drugged as I’ve never once drank to the point that I lost all control and function of my arms and legs for any period of time

There's something about drinking in NOLA where this happens, and I'm not the only one that observes this phenomenon. I can handle my booze pretty well just about every time I drink, whether at sports bars or restaurants or even just at home or at parties. But when in NOLA it just seems to hit you harder, and I don't feel like I drink more than any of my usual drinking sessions while there either. But there's been multiple times that I've been barely able to walk after a few drinks in that city.
