Fox 8 so called meteorologist don’t know when a “landfall” is. The NHC declares a landfall when the center of circulation hits land. With such a big eye that’s why the NHC hasn’t declared a landfall yet.

Katz in one breath said it's coming over the city and that it's moving north.

Are you under the impression that it will only rain and be windy within the computer generated lines superimposed on a map?

Are you under the impression that there is no difference in rain and wind from a hurricane when you're just east of the center of the eye vs being outside the outer western edge of the eye (and probably going to be a good bit further west of it than that)?

In stephensville and it isn’t that bad. You will be just fine on the north shore.

The forecast has been pretty spot on. If the NHC used thicker lines then some of them would have nothing to complain about....but then they'd complain the line being too thick.

Getting a little sketchy in Thibodaux. Can’t imagine power stays on much longer.

Just hit 2” of rain in Thibodaux highest gust around 25. I don’t think I’m getting accurate wind info because a tree line on the north side seems to be protecting us a good bit. Hummingbirds still hitting the feeders.

Buddy in Cocodrie said they just started getting gusts over 70 about 5 mins ago.
