For those who grew up in SE LA but moved out the area, what do you miss the most?

Besides Rouses, mine is dried shrimp at every convenience store.

I can honestly say I don’t miss one thing about Louisiana excluding maybe being closer to parents but that’s what cars are for.

You can get dried shrimp anywhere along the Gulf Coast

I'm from SW LA so it would probably be family, boudin and fresh crawfish and shrimp. The crawfish and boudin I had in Dallas just doesn't compare to what I have in at Kartchners, Bourque's, or Dwight's.

Good smoked sausage is almost impossible to buy along the I-4 corridor.
