If SWB’s personal lawyer was in the room due to her impending law suit against St.G, does that mean she was conducting personal business while on the clock as mayor?
Lock her up
Lock her up

Then why the frick is she in the meeting to begin with?
That's a great question. What did Sharon Hyphen Broome say when asked that exact question? This was a meeting about the transition. It was not supposed to be a meeting about trying to stop the transition.
Maybe the next meeting can just have pertinent attendees.

I get why she wants to be there. I'm wondering why anyone would allow her to be there. She's not representing the city. She's not representing the mayor as the mayor. She's just some a-hole's a-hole attorney. Kick her arse out of the room.
Freakin' this!!
Can anyone as a private citizen attend??

But she should not be part of a negotiating team in this situation
6 o’clock need had Mary Olive speaking on behalf of the mayor all in a huff because they had asked for a list of services that SG was intending to provide for their citizens.
Mary Olive is suing on behalf of Broome to stop SG, why should she be negotiating city services? She isn’t representing the parish.
It seems private interests have taken over the official process.

They want parish wide services.
Leeching as always. The way it is in LA. But not for the needy. #1 per capita in corporate welfare.

Where does MOP live? Wouldn’t mind putting some for sale signs in her yard along with a “Moving to St. George” sign as well.

I know first hand what a BITCH MOP is.

St George just needs to incorporate into the City of Central. The lines are drawn for this very reason. It wasnt an accident that these two cities touch boundary lines. frick Baton Rudge big time with that move.
I just looked at the boundaries for Central and the proposed city of St George and I can’t find where the boundaries touch

What kind of fudged up logic did you use to come up with that? SG residents are still and will still be residents of EBR parish once the incorporation if finished. So how does them wanting to continue using parish services that their tax dollars are paying for qualify as leeching?
ETA: This whole SG thing has exposed the biggest problem with La. Too many POS politicians and way too many POS lawyers.

I’m pretty sure she lives in Westminster subdivision. Which interestingly is slated to be part of St. George.

She lives in Westminster. She already lives in St. George and it's gnawing at her dried up, dust bunny infested cooch

I don't wish death on any one, but for MOP, I'm starting to rethink that.

This is another great example of why good people are leaving this parish and state in droves. People have absolutely fricking had it with this kind of shite.

I saw her at Calvin's the other day (this past Monday I think) in the parking lot walking to her SUV. For a brief moment, I thought about running her over. #truestory

SG doesn't APPEAR to touch Central on the published maps, but I was told they carved up a very narrow lane that snakes up the Amite river all the way to Central. It's just so narrow that you can't really see it unless you zoom in which is why so many missed it and left it out of their infographics.
edit: I don't think Central can reasonably annex most of SG though. The land owners probably wouldn't go for it.
