I notice you didn't post this in the Soccer forum, where you'd get destroyed.

I’m going to watch some games. What are you expecting people to do, decorate their yard? The raping of the American sportsfan by FIFA has left a pretty sour taste, though.

This World Cup has a couple of things working against it. The giraffe pussy ticket prices and the team expansion has made almost every single group stage game complete and total garbage. And ticket prices are still insane.

The World Cup is cool. Unfortunately I think it's very unlikely it lives up in any way to our hopes when it was announced.

In part because the USMNT doesn't seem very formidable. In part because a big contingent of the country dislikes it and makes it very annoying for everyone else.

Doesn't help that they play twice in Los Angeles and the other game is also on the West Coast

I would consider taking in a match on the pitch if prices weren’t so insane

If the USA gets in the final then I might have the game on in the background while I do other stuff.

I have always watched the World Cup - so I’ll probably watch this one

I do not think the media is pushing this at all. Not sure where you are getting that.

Yes I care. I understand why most people in the US don’t like it.

Also something to watch. Sports during the summer are slim pickings

Can anybody name who the very good players are?

I know our best player is Christian Pulisic. He’s from the chocolate city……Hershey Pennsylvania.

I don’t keep up much with soccer, but I usually always tune in for the World Cup

Bruh the world cup is awesome. Plenty of great players, but its more of a team sport.

Hopefully Lamine Yamal is healthy, youd be amazed by how silly that teenager makes grown men look on a soccer field

Grade school soccer is fun to watch, the little ones milling around kicking at the ball.
Yeah, and 7U coaches pitch is more fun to watch than real baseball as well.
