Can anybody name who the very good players are?

Spain, France, England are probably the bookies favorites. They all have very good players playing at the best clubs in the world.

Also, this tournament might suck because they expanded it from 32-48 teams. The early rounds will have countries that shouldn't even be at the World Cup.

They are playing games next door. You won't be able to escape it. Unless a few weeks is more like 6 weeks.

The semi final in Dallas is on 7/14.

I am going to watch some games. Why not? I don't watch soccer too often, but it's the World Cup. It's like the Olympics. I don't care about many of the Olympic events, but I will watch anyway.

Soccer is like golf. If you haven't played either one, it's hard to follow on tv.

Is “corrupt” the word you’re looking for to describe both of those shitshows?

FIFA & the IOC can both DIAF.

No denying that. Their corruption would make a Texas Tech judge blush.

I'll still watch a few games, though.

You know what’s 10x worse than the World Cup? The people that feel the need to tell everybody how much they don’t give a shite about it every time it comes around. Don’t watch it then. Nobody cares that you’re not into it. Sure soccer is kinda a pussy sport but i watch to support my country no matter what it is

The World Cup does not belong in the US.

Only fitting that they scheduled it during froot loop month.

Don't give a shite how our team does.

I've heard talk of upcoming matches. Have no idea who's playing, where, when, but figured it was coming.

Iceland and Argentina in Jordan Hare, is all I've seen for certain.

Its literally the easiest sport in the world to follow.
Goal = point
Don't use your hands
Don't be offsides or aggress on another player.

Thats it...thats the fricking rule book

Yea there's alot more nuance to it but with the above you can easily follow a game.
