FIFA World Cup countdown at 2 days 0 hours. I do not care. does anybody else?

I mean the news media is pushing this endless event hard. Government spending almost a billion dollars to support
Grade school soccer is fun to watch, the little ones milling around kicking at the ball.
I have never watched a high school game
I lived in Middle East/far east for 20 years and never watched a game
the only interesting series I have seen is the tv sit com where an American football coach takes a head coach job in England
Europeans seem to use soccer as an excuse for mayhem.
Can anybody name who the very good players are?

TBH, I really haven't seen a lot of advertising for it.... Unless I'm just not paying attention...

They’ve done a dogass job at promoting it and USMNT has been kinda shite (by even our standards) the past year

I do not. Actually headed to Dallas in a few weeks. To watch the Rangers, only team in MLB with no pride night. Not gay soccer
