First, never admit to having anything to drink in any amount and second they dont need to know where you coming from or where you going, especially if are just leaving from a bar. Lastly, don't do any of those test. They all made to get you to admit that you were drinkng. "I couldn't do that if I was sober".

SFST is horizontal gaze nystagmus, one legged stand, and walk and turn. SFST, when conducted properly, is basically voodoo; any test not in the SFST battery is just fricking with you.

They are defined as "divided attention test"... give so many instructions, can't possibly follow them all. That is why / how people are set up to fail.

Cool story time….. while in college the cops would come grab some of us at the fraternity house. They would give us a case of beer and some crown. I think it would be 8 of us. They would let us drink for over an hour and then train the new guys by performing the tests and then drive us back to the house.
There are tricks you can do to pass the tests but they are difficult. I got pulled over after practicing the tests and I had about 3 or 4 beers. I performed the tests and the cop let me go home. The eye test is difficult but don’t file the light all the way, go as far as you can and focus on something in the distance, they are looking for your eyes to shake or your head to turn.

Especially when a MF trying to get you. Good ole Monroe and the DUI gestapo tried to get me. I was coming back from the parade (which allows you time to consume 2-3 beers if you chug) and got pulled over... had drank, but was very sober. MF was yelling at me while doing the flashlight shite and rattling me... yelling at my wife saying I was failing and best get ready to pick me up tomorrow. Leg lift and straight line were was more concrete and I aced them both and a few other tests and he had to let me go
