When I was a young man, before I married, I once saw a woman strolling while wearing a hooded cloak. I thought she was the most elegant woman I’d ever seen. Something about a cloak gives a woman that air of mystery. Dignified, yet a bit witchy. But it’s generally just too damned warm in the South for women to wear them much.
