The old "A" model C-135s that burned water on takeoff would rattle windows for miles.
I go to an excellent Mom & Pop restaurant. Waiter brings menu and takes our drink order. Brings drinks and takes our food order. Brings food. Stops by and ask if everything is OK. Brings check. Averages 25-30 bucks. I almost always tip 25%. In this case probably 7 dollars. 7 dollars for 6 or 7 minutes work. Pretty good. Next day I go to a nicer place. Waiter does exactly the same job as the first Waiter. Bill is 50-60 dollars. 25% is roughly 12 bucks. Why should this Waiter get 5 dollars more for the same few minutes of work?
I'm 77. On a flight a couple of months ago I had everyone in First Class holding their nose. The only one who laughed was my 49 year old son. My wife was pissed.

Started at 14, quit at 72. 58 years. 2-3 packs a day. Doctor suggested a lung scan due to my smoking history. Found cancer in my left lung, stage one. Surgery removed a 2" by 3" piece of my lung. Never smoked again. Still cancer free almost 5 years later.

I bought a Daikin one year ag9. 4 ton, 16 seer. Cost was 11 grand and change. No problems and cools the house with minimal run time. My electric bill has gne down on a average of 80 dollars a month. The big seller for me was the 12 year warranty on parts and labor.
