If the police had been doing their jobs there wouldn't have been a need for armed civilians to protect lives and property. What's disgusting is that the people who are paid and trained to handle these situations totally failed to do their jobs.

Can't speak for the situation there, but in a lot of places the police were given orders to stand down. You would hope they would defy those orders to protect people in trouble, but then they are putting themselves in a legal predicament that would cost them their jobs and freedoms

You know he also had a med kit and was going around asking anyone and everyone if they needed medical help, right? This was happening up until the point all this went down.
