What backlash? 15 fat broads on Facebook?
Posted on 6/1/26 at 3:25 pm to idlewatcher
Any news if they will balance these fatties out and not have them on the same side of the plane? I can just see the Air Crash Investigation episode already.

I’ve never flew SWA. That whole idea that you just run to whatever seat you want is scary. Now that I’m not burdened by time, I won’t fly unless I can sit in the first few rows.
Southwest has assigned seating now.
And this accommodation isn't a problem to me because these folks could get bumped to a later flight.
In a worst case scenario, they do not take the bump and you have to sit next to a fatty, which can happen on any airline.

SWA needs to give incentives to bony assed people to sit in adjacent seat.

At least weight can be controlled. What about tall people? Do we get a free upgrade for more legroom?
As someone who is both tall and fat and infrequently flies on southwest, I am awaiting an answer.

Can I just say I need the extra seat?

This country celebrates gluttony.
It's pathetic

no extra charge for customers who need more space during their flight.
I have broad shoulders, do I get extra space for free too?

what about me? I have an over sized schlong

Which means they will require the rest of us to pay more to make up the difference for the idiots who can’t put down a fork.

Why not extra seats for people of color? They don’t even know how to get to the airport
Posted on 6/1/26 at 7:20 pm to idlewatcher
Sounds like a great way to lose $$

This.

It’s not free it just means everyone else will have to pay more to cover the expenses of the lard asses.
Remember when checked bags were free? I remember.
Now we know why.
They have weight limits for bags. Why not a limit on fatties?
Posted on 6/1/26 at 7:32 pm to idlewatcher
Since they got rid of free baggage, what's a motivation to fly them?
Posted on 6/1/26 at 7:40 pm to idlewatcher
More room for their 3 plate from Panda Express and their luggage underneath the middle seat.
Posted on 6/1/26 at 7:42 pm to idlewatcher
They are going to fill the spirit airlines void

As long as some lard arse isn't encroaching into the seat space that I paid for, then I'm fine with it.
Just imagine being in a row with 3 seats and sitting next to the window. Nobody else in your row and they move an obese person in the middle seat and the aisle seat is the empty one.
That would be my luck.

That’s funny because the acronym they used to use for extra large passengers was COW!
