McDonald’s is not hiring workers that have no legal authorization to work in the US. When they hire, they are still paying at least the minimum wage rate - the same obligation it takes to hire a native born US worker who speaks slightly better English.
You sure you’re not judging immigration status by skin color and speech?
What you’re observing is likely the people that will dependably show up on time and do the work they are supposed to do.

Sorry bud, chick fil a has gone woke.
Mr “christian conservative” CEO Dan Cathy stopped all donations to Christian charities, groveled for BLM/Antifa, and hired a DEI director.
Chick fil a even has an ESG report pledging allegiance to “racial equity” (aka communism)
Anyone with half a brain should know to avoid such places like the plague.

Creap food places, and places like Walmart are surviving off of the illegals. They are given a shite ton of taxpayer money and to them prices aren't bad as it's high in their countries. Why the mass deportation plan needs to be done quick as lots of our economy has been falsely boosted by letting them all in. It's like trying to narrow/restrict what can be bought by food stamps.

(Unless you live in El Paso, then maybe that's true.)
I rarely eat fast food, it's usually CFA when we're on the road because it's predictable. And the only people in there are obese 40,000aires stepping out of a 10-year financed SUV (if they're willing to waddle their fat asses out of their car and go inside.) They're the only ones that are at the right point at the dumb/lazy/not completely poor matrix to eat fast food with any regularity.

Connecticut location charged 18$ plus tax for a big max combo
Same combo, same location, was $2.99 in 1996.

Same here. Went to Subway Tuesday with a coupon; two footlongs for $12.99. Got a tuna and a cold cut combo, both loaded with all the veggies.
The tuna was dinner for the 3 of us Tuesday with some fruit and we had the cold cut combo tonight.
Subway catches a lot of crap, but the local 1 is pretty good here.
The same people downvoting you are probably the same people that will tell all the young folk to quit spending 7 dollars on a starbucks coffee, and how back in their day they knew how to stretch a buck and suffer to make ends meet.

Or, they are people that think 1060 calories divided by 3 isn't a realistic dinner entrée.

A company like McDonalds should charge whatever they can get away with charging.
if corporate greed makes prices too high, people will stop going and the company will have to adjust or die.
If it’s the governments fault (min wage, etc.), it’s not the company’s fault they have to raise prices.
Why are you simping for MegaCorp Inc? lmao.
We are in a new gilded age and the train is completely off the rails and you are simping for unrestrained capitalism?
Here's a clue-- it won't ever trickle down to you.

Corporations are raping and pillaging the planet to give more money to MuH sHaReHoLdErS and bleeding the average consumer dry and can't seem to give decent wages to the frickin workers who drive the profits.

Nice picture loser. Funny enough not one single apparently busted myth was claimed in the OP. The things in the OP; which are true you can search out the data I used very easily I even produced the name of the firm who conducted it, are actually far worse and more insidious than their supposed myths that are wrong.

Just a hunch but I think COVID was fatal for restaurants in general and fast food particularly. Soaring prices, terrible quality and non-existent service. The only thing fast food ever had going for it was it as fast and cheap. It has not been either for a long time but it really went down hill in 2020. Quality has always been crap but it is noticeably worse today. The cost of startup in a new, viable location is ridiculous and the dirt most of the sit on is more valuable than the business is. They won't disappear but I think there will be far fewer of them going forward. Mid price sit down places are not in much better shape....

Hardly. I,m 5' 9" and 175 lbs in my 60s. 34" pants waist size. Not skinny by any means.
There are 3 meals in a day.
This morning for breakfast I had Sausage with a couple of eggs and hashbrowns.
Maybe a couple of chili dogs for lunch, I don't know.
A big supper is probably the worst thing you can do.

My son and I had the pleasure of dining at Hardee’s yesterday for 25 bucks….for breakfast. I don’t eat fast food generally but we have a tradition of going out to lunch or breakfast following his exams.
