I think it was a zoning requirement in BR when cellular really first started exploding.

Those towers actually emit radiation that turns people gay
That’s why so many brothas are on the “down low”

What’s over the top is when they require the lineman to put on the squirrel suit before he climbs up it!

natural for Baton Rouge

I can honestly say I've never heard of this. But I think it's a good idea. I'm not saying it looks indigenous to the region, but it sure looks better than a regular tower.

The first one I ever noticed was outside Philly on the turnpike maybe 12 years ago. It stuck out only because it was taller and shaped differently from the native trees. Most of them look like Norfolk Island Pines which are not endemic to the US but are planted as exotics and I see more them in FL than anywhere else. I guess they look like them because the tall narrow silhouette is easy to replicate in a cell tower. I have started to see some that look more like the indigenous trees of an area and probably miss more of them than in the past. Even when they don't fit in they are more pleasing I guess, though the ones not near any other trees draw your eye to them more than just a standard cell tower.

They need a Cypress model for Louisiana instead of that alpine looking thing.
Exactly what I was thinking. It's out of place there.

Until you pointed that out, I was going to put up a deer stand there this fall.
If it's a 5G tower, just harvest the dead deer in its vicinity.

Seen these all over. Even before every 6 year old and their mom had one.

What would your prefer a big-arse metal pole????
All cell towers should look this way.

At least they are making an effort
In downtown Los Angeles you have entire buildings to disguise the oil rigs inside them.

Is that a big arse AC to DC converter on the pole?
First time seeing ATT Small Cell. They have been hush hush on this shite
Def an inverter. Talk to me about putting an omni-directional antenna in a spot where the pole blocks 30% of its field. Is there a degradation in signal strength?

They could make it look like a giant purple dildo and I would not care as long as the signal worked.
