Frances Haugen: So, you know, you have your phone. You might see only 100 pieces of content if you sit and scroll on for, you know, five minutes. But Facebook has thousands of options it could show you.
The algorithm picks from those options based on the kind of content you've engaged with the most in the past.

No shite, isn’t that how algorithms work on social media? I haven’t watched what she said yet but if it’s how bad white people then she can frick off. If this country was a racist as some believe then those same people that believe that would have been wiped out long ago.

Definitely wasn't a bunch of lib drivel. They did use the "insurrection" as an example of how Facebook helps promote negative stuff.l though, and that was how it was organized.
Long story short it didn't reveal anything anyone with a brain didn't already know. Facebook algorithms, just like YouTube, are designed to push the content into your feed or suggestions that show you are most likely to click on and stay engaged in.
The longer you're on the more revenue they generate I guess via clicks and ad exposure etc. Their algorithms consistently show that no matter what your beliefs, content that inspires anger/hate, far more than any other emotion, generates the most clicks clicks attention. So the algorithm helps push that crap, which is terrible for humanity. They said that several European countries contacted them and actually had to change their policy to more extreme positions because they knew they would lose out in the social media marketplace because of these algorithms, and therefore the elections. It's the same shite happening here in the US.
Lo and behold they suspended the algorithm for the 2020 US election, and then after it was over immediately reimplimented ithe.
TL;DR: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube are programmed in ways that negatively affect humanity with severe consequences, their leadership knows it, and chooses to continue doing things the way they are anyway because they make more money. You know....all the values these woke fricks claim to be against when they're shoving diversity and the gay agenda down your throat.

Everything that was said on the 60 minutes piece is well known by anyone with a functioning brain. It had nothing to do with Trump or partisanship.

yep. i dont know how anyone could think that promoting content that inspires anger/hate is a good thing because it's not censorship. it is still something just as evil
