King et all - “LSU is declining as a university due to a lack of funding!”

Also King et all - “Let’s lower standards for entry for the express purposes of bringing in more aggrieved minorities who were borderline on getting in!”

I guarantee you LSU has more black students currently than probably everyone in the SEC with the exception of maybe Mississippi State.

I’m just glad they got a competent one considering the gaggle of assholes post-Fleming.

In hindsight, having Fleming coming in after Lucas spoiled a lot of people into thinking that they could get competent presidents given that Lucas cleaned up the clusterfrick left behind by McCain.

Such a worthless idiot. He’ll say anything now, in his mind; to save what small, tarnished, and insignificant amount of reputation he has left.

Your stats do not account for the guidance given to faculty/instructors regarding grading practices...which would definitely be a more relevant academic accreditation issue than athletic department employment decisions that he keeps blabbering about.

He always looked down his nose at us, but he is definitely doubling down in order to save himself.

This! And this is extremely important to take into consideration given our academic rankings have been in a free fall. I spent some time teaching at ULM and it blew my mind how much we were instructed to coddle those students. It was clear they were more interested in pumping students though to the next class vs providing a quality education.

It always surprises me how stupid people in academia are; maybe it shouldn’t.

It's almost like the administration realizes that the more students that enroll means that more tuition dollars will come in. In order to keep that train rolling, you have to keep the kids enrolled after their freshman semester. If you have to lower your curriculum and teaching standards, oh well.
Over time, LSU's academic ranking will plummet and you will be on par with Ole Miss.

Idiot should have been happy - because the Boards formal path to replacing the AD would be to replace the President with someone who would then replace the AD. So they could have done that.

Thank goodness for the Board of Supervisors. If King had been involved he would lost Woodward and promoted one of Alleva's assistants.

LSU has low enough standards that I dont See the need for a holistic approaches

The middle 50% is in the 23/28 ACT range.

Only 80% are in the top HALF of their class

We arent Harvard. We aren’t turning away kids who would be elite minds if they only had an ACT Tutor.
