Man, my beloved Auburn University has had some shite heads hold significant power over the years, but none approach the level of incompetence and self-aggrandizing of F. King Alexander.

LSU will be better off the further away from that douchebag they get.

So was LSU's 2019 freshman class

This entire ordeal has me feeling slightly bad for Joe Alleva... which before I would have never thought possible.

“I call it the Monday night massacre,” Alexander said in a wide-ranging interview this morning on the radio show Talk Louisiana with Jim Engster. “It violates university policy, accreditation standards, to have a small number of board members—without the others knowing—that they had worked out a deal and … were paying him substantially more than we were paying Alleva …. I had never experienced anything like it in 20 years as a public university president. To replace the athletic director without myself or anyone on my staff knowing about it is quite an extraordinary intrusion into university governance and shared governance.”

Lol what does he expect? Of course we would pay more for an in demand replacement. How often do high earners accept a pay cut for a new job.

Thought F King was an educated fella.

It is a very strong point.

The BoS is tacitly run by a select few individuals. the others are trophy heads enjoying the rewards of a grateful governor for getting him elected.

The LSU BoS is the living embodiment of gov't corruption in LA

If LSU is racist and he willingly worked for LSU, then what does that make him?

Who's the fricking racist here, a-hole? You're profiling "disadvantaged" students based on their minority status and assuming they're not as smart as other LSU students.

frick that cocksucker.

In the nearly hourlong interview, Alexander defended his six-year tenure at LSU, which has come under intense scrutiny since details of the way the university handled Title IX reports of sexual misconduct and violence surfaced, first in the national media and, in early March, in a report prepared by the Husch Blackwell law firm

Never caught this before, and maybe I am pronouncing it incorrectly; but I find it ironic that the 1st name of the law firm that had a report about Title IX violations under FKA is Husch since the focus of the Title IX investigations under FKA was that they tried to do whatever it takes to keep the stories quiet.

He threw away his credibility with Duke Lacrosse. Otherwise the LSU administration might have taken him seriously.

He will get an audience because:

1) A strong national perception that the South = Racism.

2) LSU is getting a lot of negative press and this is an easy pile-on for the media.
