2 questions…

1. What balloon animal request do you get the most?

2. What happened to Magician1?

Will have to agree to disagree.

We ordered out from there tonight: fried mushrooms app and Cajun Executioner pizza.

We give Pizza Village South an equal amount of business.

Agree with the nostalgia theory.

This happens all the time bruh. For whatever reason success in one location does not equal auto success in another

The pizza was absolutely below frozen Tombstone quality. Worst crust of any pizza I’ve ever eaten (and that includes Totino’s or Stouffer’s French Bread).

But drinking $5 pitchers of Miller Lite there as a 19 year old was clutch.

Fleur de Lis or Pastime would not make it in Laf
Why? The around the world pizza is great.

I used to live in Highland Village 2 right behind there. I went maybe 5 or 6 times and the T-Rex pizza was good enough for me to remember it 15 years later.

I thought it was pretty good.

Every decent-sized town has a hometown favorite: Fleur de Lis in BR, Pizza Shack in Opelousas, Deano's in Lafayette, Johnny's in Monroe, West Main in Houma, etc. Most of the popularity is due to nostalgia. When outsiders try it, they don't feel the same way because the nostalgia isn't there.

Not reading the whole thread, just give me the names of the people who hate Fleur De Lis so I can murder their entire family for being related to such a tasteless mongoloid.

Frankly, that location is garbage. Which is a shame, because highland road that close to campus should be gold. But the parking lot is just flat out too small. No possible way for a restaurant with as many square feet as that deano’s to turn a profit with how limited the parking is. Simply not enough car spots to generate the revenue needed to pay for that space. Terrible design, and worse decision from each and every restaurant that leases the space.

Waited tables at the Bertrand location in high school and the BR one for a couple of months my freshman year. The BR location was ran by a family member who had no business running his own location and it was extremely difficult to park and leave.
