It's funny how it's totally out of the realm for white people to have done this?
So what exactly exonerates them from any wrongdoing ?

Oh, I'm sure it was a white, liberal, who was trying to cause a stir during SXSW. Austin has zero race issues, so I'm sure this is manufactured to be a publicity stunt. But it makes absolutely no sense, as Austin is an island of blue in a sea of red.

I have a wild guess.
There is probably some kind of community organization focused on civil rights that will place these stickers on any business establishment that is reportedly rude or unkind to AA customers.
The stickers are an act of revenge or retaliation. I guess it's a polite a substitute for having a brick or fire bomb thrown through the front window of the business.
"They got the guns but, we got the numbers. Gonna win, yeah, we're takin' over. COME ON!"

It's the major fault line in our cultural and social order.
If you want to smash the cultural/social order and replace it with something more collective/progressive, you have to take the sledgehammer to the fault lines and smash away until the old social order crumbles. Then replace it with a Transformed American Society.
This process will continue past our lifetimes. I wish I could live to see what the USA will look like in 2115.
