The first public housing project in the United States opened in East Austin in the 1930s, courtesy of Congressman Lyndon Johnson. It's still there.

It's been chock-full of Mexicans since the get-go. In fact, there were three projects in Austin: one for whites, one for blacks and one for Mexicans. The one for Mexicans was built first. That's just the way it was until the 1960s. Ever notice how there are often public housing projects in white (or formerly white) parts of town, blacks, etc.? It was the law.

Well now you're talking about something else entirely. A white person is 99% likely to NOT be a klansman or skin head IMO. Do you mean a white person not affiliated with these groups or white person that is a klansmen/skin head? I think its pretty much guaranteed not to be a klansmen or skin head. Klansmen and skin heads are barely in existence mostly. I hope you dont think otherwise.
