I live on the west side of the river from Baton Rouge and I got my 15 minutes of sunlight therapy around 2:30 PM

It was hot and humid, but breezy so I didn’t sweat too much.

I’m not sure if it rained at all here today

27.8" of rain in my yard and the water came within an inch and a half of getting over my slab. Started receding. Thank the Good Lord.....Not in a flood zone

Is this yet another poster claiming, “It didn’t rain much at my house, therefore everything was overblown and everyone was wrong?”

Meanwhile, ignoring the immense amount of rain or destructive tornadoes only 50 miles away in every direction.

Terrible post.

Free day off work at least.

You should be at work unless you can’t physically get there due to flooding.

I'm alright. Sometimes I wonder if this is the start of the end times or I'm in it right now.

I remoted as did many employee. Up around 4 am bc of warnings, up most of night not sleeping well bc of the unknown and worrying for family who lost homes in 2016 flood and have family where headlines said river levels were at a danger risk. Not to mention flooding all around and debris on the road. I got all my work done. Sometimes we have to look out for ourselves. I rarely remote, prefer to be in the office. A lot remote regularly even though it’s really not protocol. I felt it my was my turn.
