My mom has tried to pull that guilt shite on me over the years. I just blow it off and ignore her or give it right back to her and challenge her directly depending on how I'm feeling. My little sister can't do it like me so she takes the brunt and they don't really get along.

That’s a tough thing.
My mother is a wonderful loving person to her family and kids. But my grandmother (her mother) is a cruel domineering woman who never misses an opportunity to cut her down.
My mother refuses to abandon her completely though because she is just such a good person. She tries to ignore her and just be the better woman. She did have to put some distance between she and her though.
