FWIW EVERY single poster on the OT is a sexual object to me.
Well except for Berg because I see him often and Boomhaur because he may have been 14 yrs old...

My mother can be pretty cruel whether unintentional or not. Definitely have some issues from that. Not a big deal but still not ideal.

Absolutely tore me down at my lowest moment though. I was 24.

I had just lost everything and was very ill and using a walker to get around. Went to thanksgiving dinner at the local country club.

My mother was pissy and started bitching about how my pants had something on them and how can I embarrass them like this in public. I very nicely told her I don’t give a shite, let me handle it and mind your own business.

She walked off and came back and shoved me and screamed she was walking home and going to get a heart attack because I was a spoiled brat.

She eventually came back.

I remember I just started bawling during the dinner at the country club in a room full of people,

I won’t ever forget that.

You should have at least stolen some of her pills in retribution.

And....I am trying for words. My story is bullshite next to yours, and I am sorry.

I guess we all feel things, based on our experience. I am apologetic.

People are shitty. And can be twice as shitty of parents.
My father posts on this site. And has spent more time on it in one day then he has me and my two kids combined in over 10 years.

Jeez, a whole bunch of dark memories just came flooding back.

It wasn’t so bad. That incident I described was 4 years ago. No issue. We get along for the most part. She just can be cruel. My sister said I should have apologized for angering her because my mother just wanted me to look nice and I wasn’t being negative.

My father later pointed out brilliantly that I felt so sad and pathetic and useless at the time after my recent health issues that the last thing in the world I could deal with is to be babied.

I remember when I was 8 or 9 years old she’d say I was a fat slug who was going to be a bum when I grew up.

As I grew older she didn’t mind slapping me a few times and that wasn’t painful but it hurt because I knew she was trying to cause me pain.

In the grand scheme of things, it was a much better childhood than many or even most have in this world.

Watching a child struggle is like a double whammy for a parent. Keep that in mind. Maybe she sees you stumbling without purpose or wisdom through life , and she’s just being honest.

Also - return to the Catholic Church or risk burning in eternal hellfire. Just kidding.

A few drinks may do the trick. I can give it back pretty good after a couple of beers or a glass of wine.

Ah so you were a fat kid.

Not entirely your fault as a kid as you eat what your parents have brought home.

Yes. After my dad passed away, a few months later my mom started dating (he passed away in 1998 and my mom is now married to this person). He is a master manipulator and since no one wants to read long post from me, it got to a point where she had to pick between her kids (I have a sister 11 years older than I and a brother 10 years older than I) and she picked him.

One day I overheard a conversation between the two of them and he flipped out when I let him know I overheard their conversation because he was saying opposite of what he would say "to our face" and we had it out. And for years I couldn't be around my mom more than 2 mins before we would go at it.

It was exhausting in a way I can't even describe. I am sure your situation is the same way because there is nothing like dealing with parents who are selfish and I can't help but think that your mom is being extremely selfish. In my situation, I never felt true hate until the situation with my mom happened (hatred for her now husband). Things are a lot better now than they were.. But for about 10 years, everytime I had to deal with that situation it was as if I was a different person.

Him and I had it out several times to the point... Since I can't really physically fight him, I wanted to go wait for him to get somewhere where I could hit him with my van.. That's how much hate I had.. But I hope your mom can come to terms with your decision. My mom's brother, he converted to Baptist when my grandfather was living..My grandfather was a devout catholic and at first he was very upset my his son for converting to Baptist and I remember my mom talking to my grandpa telling him "we all pray to the same god, there is no right or wrong religion" and that seemed to help him come to terms with it.

So your Mother had an indiscretion and you were the result. Your Mother sees you leading a life that she'd thinks may lead to a similar mistake. MAYBE she regrets her mistakes and wants better for you. Not everyone can express themselves in a positive manner.

Just a different view since I'm not trying to see pics of you... like these pathetic losers.
