I thought I heard $20B+ was funded by the banks.

Then I started wondering what the debt service on something like that would look like.

Then I kept trying to figure how long could you continue to finance this and remain profitable.

Then I see these comments and it makes sense. You can't.

He said all the same exact things about Tesla, but I'm never certain they were true. He said they were mere days away from bankruptcy but survived.

Part of me thinks he likes to embellish the doom and gloom so when things work out, he can point back to how low it was.

Well, when you're being quietly subsidized by the government you can make it. Information is valuable... until the government can't bribe a company for it.

Could he be using threats of bankruptcy to get around Cali's advanced notice requirement for layoffs?

So the geniuses were the losers running the company losing 4 million dollars a month?

Those same losers fleeced Elon for an absurd per share price and had him take the headache/stress off their plates

What losers

In fairness, Twitter wasn’t doing too good financially before he acquired it.

Potentially he will use bankruptcy laws to legally reorg the business. You know, he can then shed labilities legally.

It is impossible to shame Progressives.

Seriously. Anyone that openly supports censorship, jailing political opponents, and fricking kids can't be shamed.
