WAY different than what I remember the interaction at the Popeye's in Jennings, LA to be.
Yelp! ranks them the #25th “best” restaurant in Jennings.

Popeyes corporate office obviously puts little value in the quality of their employees. Just effective enough to get the product out is what they are willing to be satisfied with. It’s so odd for folks from the South used to their below-average service to find one (not local) with good or great service.

Like in Utah.

I know that's the common theme/joke. And I don't eat Popeye's often. But in all honesty I can't even remember the last time I had to pull up or even wait a few minutes before getting my food there. Not sure if they shifted their corporate focus on better service or whatever, but I've been in and out almost every time for years now.

The only reason they did that was because Louisiana is name-dropped by the restaurant. It is just an assumption by the website. I think if every Popeye's in the state went to buffet style it would save the franchise and potentially make it the most popular.

Culver's (WI) is good...we've got one in our area in South Carolina now, but I'm not fat and won't drive anywhere specifically to get fast food.

Oklahoma: Sonic

No surprise given that they were founded here.

Too bad they sold out Inspire 8 years ago.

It is if you consider that all you have to do is pull up, go inside, grab your pizza and leave.

No one said it had to be cooked.

Also, a little of topic, but something that surprised me: Casey's is the #4 pizza seller in the US, and they are not even a pizza place. They are a convenience store chain.

I find it crazy that McDonald's , the #1 fast food joint in the country, is not the favorite in any state.

Best chicken out of everyone, and the best biscuits in the world. Those things melt in your mouth. Ive gone there just to grab a 6 pack lol

As for employees, the one in pace florida used to be all ghetto messes, super long wait times for some reason but they replaced it with less culchad people and the wait time flew down and was far more plesant. The food was good either way though. Seems they made it hard to screw up.

I honestly would not have guessed. Chick-fil-a lines always seemed longer.

But I would also travel to 13th and State for a limeaid and would get Beto's during the few times I wanted fastish food.

Inspire could screw up an orgy.

The BDubbs in the Perimeter area of ATL is down the street from their HQ building... it is a ridiculously nice venue, but quite possibly the worst dining experience you could ever imagine.
