BRPD still ambushing The Bulldog?
I thought BR did not have the funding for DWI checkpoints?

Well as long as my chauffeur hasn’t been on the piss tonight we should be fine.

Don’t roll the window down more than an inch and keep informing the officer that you know your rights. Might even ask for a supervisor.

Gotta tell them you’re traveling not driving

Don't drink and drive. No problem with checkpoint. I hope the checkpoint catches all the drunk drivers.

I'm not good with it, but weed tests would be far more fruitful for government revenue at this point.

That would upset all the Charger, old Honda Accord with mismatched bumpers, and Altima drivers if BRPD enforced weed.

It's 100x the bigger issue in 2026. I smell weed at 7:15am way more often than I see some drunk swerving around at any time.

No shite. I always thought it was weird how people think narcing on DUI checkpoints is nothing more than stupid.

As someone in their mid 40s, i don’t go out past 10.
Not sure why anyone that’s grown would be bothered by this

I was leaving town to go fishing. A full day of graduation parties and I don’t want anyone to get in trouble if they can help it. You’re such a tool.

Check points serve as a long term deterrent, but are massively ineffective compared to saturated patrols.
No one enjoys working them, you are putting all your eggs in one basket/location and you have to spend most of your time screening vehicles/drivers you would have never chosen to stop.
Federal grants often require departments to work a certain number of checkpoints (to create the long term deterrent) in order to secure funding for additional saturated patrols.
Driving impaired is inexcusable in modern day America. There are simply too many options available to avoid it if you insist on binging on poison.
